Dr Spencer is a long-established GP in Fleetwood, a town which has struggled economically since the decline of its principle industry, fishing. He inspired the setting up of the Healthier Fleetwood project and has led an approach to health that has the philosophy of ‘What Matters To You’ at its heart, working with colleagues across the system to support the citizens of Fleetwood to take control of their health. He will join us to talk about how he did this and what he has learned about System Leadership.
